The Stewards reviewed video evidence, heard from the driver of Verstappen (Max Verstappen), the driver of Leclerc (Charles Leclerc) and team representatives and determined the following. Verstappen sought to overtake Leclerc at Turn 3 on lap 69 by out-braking Leclerc.
