- Impeding Unnecessarily obstructing another driver on a flying lap, most often in qualifying. 332 rulings
- Track limits Leaving the track (all four wheels beyond the white line) and gaining a lasting advantage. 303 rulings
- Causing a collision Being judged wholly or predominantly to blame for a collision, or forcing another driver off the track, under the FIA's driving-standards guidelines. 202 rulings

- Yellow-flag infringement Failing to slow sufficiently, or improving a lap time, under a yellow flag. 160 rulings

- Start-procedure infringement Breaching the starting procedure - wrong grid slot, or a formation-lap / practice-start rule. 54 rulings
