- Track limits Leaving the track (all four wheels beyond the white line) and gaining a lasting advantage. 124 rulings
- Safety-car infringement Breaching the rules under a safety car or virtual safety car - speeding, or too great a gap to the car ahead. 82 rulings
- Causing a collision Being judged wholly or predominantly to blame for a collision, or forcing another driver off the track, under the FIA's driving-standards guidelines. 70 rulings
- Yellow-flag infringement Failing to slow sufficiently, or improving a lap time, under a yellow flag. 69 rulings

- Parc fermé breach Working on a car, or breaking the setup lock, while it is under parc fermé conditions. 41 rulings
- Unsafe release Releasing a car from the pit box into an unsafe situation - into the path of another car in the pit lane, or with a wheel not safely fitted. 36 rulings

- Ignoring blue flags Failing to let a faster, lapping car past when shown blue flags. 4 rulings
- Unsafe rejoin Rejoining the track in an unsafe manner after running wide or off, into the path of other cars. 3 rulings
- Illegal overtake Overtaking where it isn't permitted - under a safety car, off the track, or before the control line. 1 ruling
