- The Stewards reviewed video evidence, heard from the driver of Leclerc (Charles Leclerc) and the team representative. LEC re-joined the track safely, recognized his error and aborted his lap in order not to gain a sporting advantage. It should be noted that had this incident occurred during the race a Time Penalty would have been imposed.
