- Stewards' reasoning
- The Stewards reviewed the on-board video from both cars as well as CCTV cameras and concluded that Giovinazzi had substantially completed the overtake on the inside at Turn 1 and had the right to the line. Grosjean avoided a collision by going off track and correctly followed the Race Director’s instructions rejoining at Turn 3. Neither driver was predominantly at fault.
