- The Stewards reviewed video, positioning and telemetry data. When Ocon was at Turn 17 it was 1.7 seconds behind Sainz, the former being on a push lap and the latter being on an out lap. This gap closed to 1.3 seconds on approach to Turn 18 at the point where Sainz commenced braking.
