- The Stewards heard from the driver of Vettel (Sebastian Vettel), the driver of Magnussen (Kevin Magnussen), and team representatives, and examined video evidence. Magnussen had to brake in the fast lane to avoid Vettel when Vettel was released from the garage. Consistent with decisions in previous similar cases the Stewards impose a financial penalty on the team.
