- Stewards' reasoning
- The Stewards reviewed video and in-car video evidence. The driver of Alonso attempted a very late overtake on Zhou on the inside into turn 3. He never got in a position to have the right to the line and made contact with Zhou at the apex. The Stewards determine that the driver of Alonso was wholly at fault.
