- Stewards' reasoning
- The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video, team radio and in-car video evidence and determined that Stroll left the track at Turn 1, overtook Albon, and thereby gained a lasting advantage. Stroll did not thereafter give the advantage back, which is a breach of Article 33.3 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. We accordingly impose a 10 second penalty.
