- Stewards' reasoning
- The Stewards reviewed, video and in-car video evidence. Piastri was attemting an inside pass on Lawson in Turn 1. The driver of Piastri did not reach the point as required by the Driving Standard Guidelines to be entitled to room on the inside. A collision occurred and the Stewards determined that PIA was wholly at fault for the collision.
