- The Stewards reviewed video and in-car video evidence. The driver of Sainz defended an overtaking attempt by Albon on the inside into Turn 1, but locked up and caused a collision between both cars. The Stewards determine that the driver of Sainz was wholly at fault and issue the standard penalty for such incidents.
