- Stewards' reasoning
- The Stewards reviewed video, team radio, in-car video evidence and submissions from the team and the team of Gasly (Pierre Gasly) via the FIA Evidence Channel. Bearman (Oliver Bearman) moved to overtake Gasly at turn 11. The front axle of Bearman was not ahead of the mirror of Gasly at the apex where a collision occurred between the two cars. The Stewards determined that Bearman was wholly to blame for the collision and imposed a 10 second penalty accordingly.
