Stewards' reasoning
The Stewards reviewed video, team radio and in-car video evidence and found that Magnussen did not give sufficient space to Albon at Turn 4, resulting in a collision for which Magnussen was wholly or predominantly to blame. In keeping with the revisions made to the 2024 Penalty guidelines, we imposed a 10 second time penalty on Magnussen together with 3 penalty points.
