Stewards' reasoning
The Stewards reviewed positioning/marshalling system data, video, timing, telemetry, team radio and in-car video evidence and determined that Magnussen attempted to overtake Tsunoda at Turn 4 and in the process left the track. He did not give the position back and therefore gained a lasting advantage by leaving the track. We accordingly gave Magnussen a 10 second time penalty.
